Data Deletion Request

Owlarm has no user account that must be deleted by the Company and no company-operated user data server. The following explains how to delete or manage on-device data, Google Play subscription information, and the advertising identifier.
1. User Accounts
Owlarm has no user registration. Because no user account is created, there is no account to ask the Company to delete.
2. Data Stored on the Device
The Company does not operate a user data server. Alarms, wake history, settings, and the detection log files used to improve clap recognition are stored only on the user's device and are not transmitted to a Company server.
3. Microphone Audio and Raw Sensor Values
Microphone audio and raw sensor values used for clap and sound detection are not stored. These inputs are evaluated in real time on the device and discarded immediately afterward, and they are not transmitted to a Company server. The scores and threshold values that come out of the detection are kept as numbers in the detection log files described in section 2. The sound itself is not written to those files either.
4. How to Delete Data on the Device
- On Android, select Settings → Apps → Owlarm → Storage → Clear data.
- Alternatively, uninstall Owlarm from the device.
Either method by itself removes all alarms, wake history, settings, and detection log files created by Owlarm on the device.
5. Subscription Information
Subscription information is held in the user's Google Play account and is not retained by the Company. Subscription cancellation and payment-history management are handled through the subscription management screen in the Google Play Store.
6. Advertising Identifier
The advertising identifier (advertising ID) can be reset or deleted in the Android device settings.
